Amazing Talent Is Hidden Inside You
Recently, I’ve mulled over the topic of passion and what that means in our lives. When you have a passion, it feels like you have access to a near-endless vat of motivation that pushes you to work harder and be the best.
When I was younger, my passion took the form of recording skits in my living room with my siblings — inspired by Whose Line is it Anyway? reruns and various YouTubers. That desire led me to learn about cameras, editing, and making content eye-catching.
It didn’t matter if I “made it” or not as a YouTuber. I was passionate, and every comment or like I received on my videos encouraged me to keep going. Unfortunately, that passion eventually turned into routine, and routine turned into, “Do I enjoy this anymore?” And burnout reared its ugly head.
