When you put all of your effort towards a specific goal, it may feel daunting at times. Progress is slow, you’re tired, and too much is going on around you to focus. It is possible you have never experienced a flow state or can’t seem to trigger it regularly.

The world keeps pushing us to work harder, but we can’t seem to focus and get anything done.

I am addicted to getting things done. Even on my days off, I will sit at the PC for hours typing away on some project. This is because, each day, I manage to trigger a flow state.

What is a Flow State?

Flow is a state of mind where a person becomes fully immersed in an activity. (via verywellmind)

This means that, whatever work you are doing, you are absorbed in it and managed to give it your all — for hours. Feeling focused and energized the entire time.
