I Went to Sleep at 4 A.M. for a Month
The truth is: I am a night owl. I have been for a long time, and it takes a great deal of effort to keep a normal sleep and work schedule. I wondered, what would happen if I stopped ignoring that feeling? I worked from home — what‘s stopping me?
So, for a month, I started going to bed at 4 a.m. and waking up at 1 p.m. every day.
Why?
It just happened. My schedule slowly went from sleeping at midnight to later and later hours. Instead of trying to fix it, I just let it happen.

In the beginning…
I felt very sluggish. It took over a week to feel normal, and even then, I had to push myself to exercise and eat healthy. When I would roll out of bed, I would only have a couple of hours to walk my dog before the sun went down, and I had to hurry to do errands outside of the house.
