Work. Home. Bed. Sleep. Repeat. Days pass and then weeks. When someone asks how your week went, you say something along the lines of the usual —mainly because there was not a single thing worth mentioning.

You wonder things like…

Should I be doing more?
Am I boring?
Is my life being wasted?

We live in a world obsessed with “the hustle,” and many people give all of themselves to work or school. We need to be financially stable and achievers. By the time our day off rolls around, we’re too tired and mentally exhausted to do anything.

“It’s boring to do nothing, it’s as simple as that, it’s better to try and fail than not try.”

— Hayao Miyazaki

I spent six years of my life working from home in a new city. I stayed inside for most of it. There were many things I could have done to prevent this lifestyle, but I was too obsessed with my career to change.

When six years had passed, I looked back on my life and realized that all of those days in front of the PC were blurs.
