Will AI Take My Job as a Writer?

Creating content doesn’t feel worth it.

This is something I’ve heard, both whispered in small corners of the internet and shouted in lengthy comment sections.

The fear lacing the words is almost tangible.

Will AI take my job? Should I pursue writing if AI has the potential to become the norm? If AI can generate a large quantity of content at light speed, is it even worth trying?

Recently, I’ve noticed AI inhabiting more and more of the internet. For example, Amazon now lets AI generate product review summaries so you don’t have to read the reviews yourself.

Even Google is trying to implement its own form of AI.

Even though it’s convenient (let’s be honest, I hate scrolling Amazon reviews when most of them sound paid for) I can’t help but feel a little scared for the future. Scared that trying to become a writer isn’t worth it anymore, since I’ll always be outmatched by AI.
